Some time ago you sent me a copy of your book, Finding My Marbles. I took it home and read it that night. I just wanted to thank you and compliment you on producing a little treasure. As you demonstrated so succinctly there are masses of unhappy people or at least unfulfilled people who probably are not doing what jazzes them. I think many people feel like they’re trapped, almost a victim mentality.

Your story was powerful but the beauty was you made it seem achievable to follow your talents and intuition. Thank you for sharing a copy with me. On a personal note I have given the book to my husband to read so we can find “our marbles” in regards to our future goals – not work goals but partner goals.

Thank you so much for the book, ... it came to me at the perfect time. I'm going to have my husband read it. It think he understands how I'm feeling somewhat, but maybe the book will help him relate to me too. I'm a generally happy person, but not feeling the joy I should be feeling. I sometimes feel guilty that I want/need more than this "good job." Personally, it was an inspiration to me. I've been dreaming about starting my own business, in something very different than I do now, for awhile now.... I'm working on my business plan and taking it one step at a time.... I want to interact with people and effect their lives in the way the marbles owners do. I used to think I needed to become a nurse or something similar to that to touch people's lives, but I know we can do that in many ways.... even in everyday interactions that could seem meaningless if we aren't "looking up" watching for the opportunities. I sometimes feel like I'm partially "asleep" in my life... just going through the motions. Thanks for the book.....its so great to know someone else can relate to the way I feel. I'm trying to find daily joy as I move out of the JZ :)

The book is validating to me at a time when I am searching again for resonance. Thank you for being willing to share that we are all connected, that we cannot be apart. That what we communicate resonates. Being thoughtful and intending to be in gratitude - makes a huge difference in the quality of all our lives. With my warmest regards and sincerest hope that your message is heard and embraced in an exponential manner!

Thank you for the book you gave me... I was so touched. I was amazed at how relevant it was to my life right now. I finally made a long pondered move and left a job where I've had to compromise my core values to accommodate how the business was run. I could not do it anymore, regardless of market conditions. the following week I read your book, and it gave me such excitement and more confirmation that I'd made the right decision, and that everything will in fact fall into place.

The day after finishing the book, I was working in our backyard under a large redwood tree. As I was digging in the soil to prepare it for flowers, I noticed
something shiny in the dirt. I reached down and pulled out a beautiful green marble that had probably been buried there for many
years! Interesting timing! I keep that marble sitting on my desk.

I wanted to write you to thank you for the wonderful gift of your book. I just love everything about it. Your book was just so fun to read. The story inspired me to implement more of the principles. I have passed my book on to my sister and mom, and I am so excited to give several as gifts. I would love to give a copy to both of my favorite coffee shops!

My friend passed on "Finding My Marbles" to me. What a GREAT book!!! THANK YOU for giving it to her. I'm re-reading it before I pass it on to another, cause I know there is stuff I missed the first time around.

I was so far into the JZ, I couldn't remember what life outside of that was like. You and Loretta gave me keys to start unlocking the doors within the JZ that were holding me hostage. The vision board you had us make is still hanging in my office. That has also helped me in finding JOY, laughter, passion, MYSELF!!!

I was talking to a friend and she said "Valerie you look GREAT!!! If I hadn't seen you at the Thanksgiving dance, I don't think I would even know who you were right now!" The funny part is, the person I am now, is the person I KNOW and recognize. The one that was sucked in the JZ was someone I just didn't know. I'd look in the mirror and it seemed like a stranger look back at me.

Thanks and oh...my family thanks you too! They enjoy having ME back as much I am enjoy being back :-)
